The EMD SW8

On Tuesday, March 19th, a Locomotive Dedication Ceremony was held at Pfizer, Inc in Groton, CT.

Two EMD SW8 Locomotives were generously donated to local museums by Pfizer, Inc.

One Locomotive was Donated to the Danbury Railway Museum and the other to the Connecticut Eastern Railroad Museum.

No.1 was given to The Danbury Railway Museum and No.2 to Ct Eastern RR Museum

At Approximately 12 Midnight on March 25th, 2002, the P&W Railroad Delivered the Pfizer No.1 Locomotive to it's New Home at the Danbury Railway Museum.
